2. SYSTEM CAPACITY

2.2. Press Time
The pressing time or curing time depends on the type of laminating material, the press temperature,
the glue formula and similar factors. It is impossible to provide a general, binding estimate with
regards to the press time.

For standard thermoplastic foils pressing cycles of approx. 90 - 120 sec. can to be achieved.
3. PRESSING PROGRAMS
3.1. Single-sided lamination (top) or preprofiled substrates
with:
A. Thermoplastic foils, if using a membrane for the preheating of the foil and for forming = pressing
B. Thermoplastic foils, if using a membrane for the preheating of the foils by the membrane and for
forming = pressing of the foils without membrane (simultaneous pressure)

5. MATERIALS TO BE USED FOR FOIL LAMINATION
5.1. Substrates on wood basis = MDF or particleboard as well
as other suitable substrate materials
The workpiece profiling has to be matched to the relative laminating material and procedure.
5.2. Laminating material
5.2.1. Standard thermoplastic foils like PVC, PET, etc.
which have to be suitable for the a.m. pressing procedure. Delivery form as roll material with a foil
width of min. 1.420 mm - with additional equipment further dimensions will be possible.
5.2.2. Standard veneers as fixed formats with appropriate jointing
5.3. Glue systems
• PUR dispersion adhesives added with cross-linking agent for thermoplastic foils
• Standard UF glue with hardener and filler or PVAc glue for veneer

for supervising the foreseen membrane and foil temperature. If
deviating from the desired temperature, the press cannot be closed.
By this faulty pressings are avoided.

• recommended for the pressing of thermoplastic foils
