1938 The families Weiler and Hubmann set up the company in Herzogenaurach, Germany 1990 Sale to the Austrian company VOEST-Alpine Steinel Werkzeugmaschinen Ges.m.b.H., Linz 1991 Friedrich K. Eisler takes over as Managing Director  1995 Friedrich K. Eisler acquires WEILER Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH as part of a management buy-out and becomes sole managing shareholder 2000 WEILER acquires Holoubkov s.r.o. in Plzeň, Czech Republic 2001 The two sons Alexander Eisler and Michael Eisler join the family company  2006 Foundation of the WEILER North America Corporation 2012 WEILER currently employs approx. 550 employees at their sites in Emskirchen and Holoubkov
